Lisa Mercurio

Lisa brings extensive experience working in the areas of community and economic development to her role as Director of Partnerships, where she is responsible for the ongoing communication with economic development partners throughout the state and the management of business expansion and retention projects.
Most recently, Lisa managed communications outreach and marketing for the Connecticut Small Business Development Center specifically related to the programs and services for small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Before pursuing a statewide focus, Lisa supported the growth of entrepreneurs, and small and large businesses, as Vice President of The Business Council of Fairfield County, with the focus on advancing regional and statewide initiatives to build and strengthen business and the communities in which they reside. Lisa received her B.A. in Psychology from Barnard College, Columbia University.
