Benjamin, or Ben, is an Economic Development Specialist on the Research team at AdvanceCT. Since July 2023, Ben has worked on workforce analyses, industry reports, and other research projects in support of AdvanceCT’s mission. Ben took a lead role in developing AdvanceCT's Risk Report, released in March 2025. His research work particularly focuses on the finance and insurance industries in the state, monitoring companies and industry trends, as well as Connecticut's assets relevant to those sectors.
Prior to his full-time role, Ben worked as an intern for the Marketing team where he assisted with a variety of projects. He helped create the Soft Landing Directory, drafted social media posts, and worked on various research and creative tasks.
Ben is from Wilton, Connecticut, and attended Colby College where he received a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Economics.
